  • 我該連那一個SSID?              Which SSID should I select?
    本校教職員師生都是選用「NCHU」，此 SSID 來進行認證。
    Staff and students of NCHU, please select the SSID "NCHU" for authentication.
  • 輸入帳密後又跳回登入頁面           After entering my account and password, it redirects back to the login page.
    請先登入mail server測試您的帳號密碼是否正確(學生http://mail.nchu.edu.tw，教職員http://dragon.nchu.edu.tw)。如果mail server不能登入，請至單一簽入系統變更密碼，或攜帶證件到資訊網路組修改email密碼。若mail server可以登入(非單一簽入系統)，請聯絡資訊網路組。
    Please log in to your account on the mail server to perform a test (for students: http://mail.nchu.edu.tw; for staff: http://dragon.nchu.edu.tw). If you are unable to log in to the mail server, please proceed to change your password via the Single Sign-On system or visit the Information and Network Division. with your identification documents to modify your email password. If you can log in to the mail server (not via the Single Sign-On system), please contact the Information and Network Division.
  • 如何申請大量臨時帳號供活動或學術使用?     If I need to apply for a large number of temporary accounts for events or academic use, how can I apply?
    請至計資中心網站下載特殊作業申請表，由各系所辦或行政單位核章後送至資訊網路組申請。
    Please download the " Special Computer Service Application Form " from the website of the Computer and Information Network Center, and then have the departments or administrative units of NCHU submit the application to the Information and Network Division.
  • 如何查詢我的無線網卡 MAC?          How can I check my wireless network interface card's MAC address?
    Windows：開始->控制台->網路和網際網路->網路和共用中心->變更介面卡設定->WiFi(右鍵-狀態)->詳細資料->實體位址即為無線網路卡MAC。
    Mac系統：無線網路圖示->請按option鍵 + 滑鼠->位址即為無線網路卡MAC。
    Windows：Start –> Settings –> Network & internet –> WiFi –> Hardware properties -> Physical address
    macOS：Apple Icon–>System Preferences–>Network–>Wi-Fi–>Advanced–>Hardware–>MAC Address
  • 為何出現安全性警告?             Why is there a security warning displayed?
    若您在進入無線網路認證頁面前出現「伺服器安全性憑證不受信任」、「安全性警告」或「這個連線未受信任」視窗，那是因為學校無線網路目前使用的安全連線 SSL 憑證是自行簽署發佈的，使用者點按【繼續留覽此網站】、【繼續】或【我了解此安全風險／新增例外網站／確認安全例外】即可。
    The wireless network authentication page displays messages such as "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate," "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead," or " Your connection is not private " because the SSL certificate used by the school's wireless network is self-signed. Users should select either "Advanced," "Continue to this website(not recommended)," or "I understand the risks and wish to continue" to proceed.
  • 我是中興畢業的校友，我可以使用中興無線網路嗎?     I am an alumnus of NCHU. Am I eligible to access the wireless network?
    目前尚未開放校友於各校園內使用無線網路。
    Currently, alumni are not provided access to the wireless network within the campus.
  • 為何我註冊過MAC認證還需要輸入帳密?     Why do I need to enter my account and password again even after registering for MAC authentication?
    本校無線認證為十天，超過十天無使用校園網路就必需重新認證。
    The wireless authentication validity period is ten days. Re-authentication is required if the wireless network is not used for more than ten days.
