Using Open DNS Reslover, malicious actors can exploit DNS reflection or amplification attacks, spoofing the target IP address and sending a large number of DNS ANY queries to devices with open DNS resolvers.
Therefore, users are advised to disable unnecessary DNS services.
Some IP routers offer "router mode" or "AP mode." The former defaults to enabling the DNS relay function, providing DNS queries to IP addresses from any source. Therefore, it is recommended to disable the DNS relay function.
