update date : 2024-06-06

● Internet resources

  1. When freshmen move into the dormitory, they can access the Internet by completing email authentication and filling out some basic information, then restarting their network card or rebooting the computer. If you have any questions, you can ask the network administrator of each building.
  2. Each dormitory has a network administrator to assist dormitory students with network problems. Except for Pu Xuan, who is on the sixth floor, the others are located on the second floor of each dormitory.
  3. Each unit has designated network managers who are responsible for maintenance and management. In the event of violations, an application for restoration of use must be submitted to the netgroup of Computer adn information network Center through the unit's network administrator.
  4. According to the regulations of the Taichung Regional Network Center, the current total daily traffic of each single IP on the campus network is controlled to be 8G. However, NCHU has purchased external network lines, most of which provide sufficient traffic to support the network usage of student dormitories. The total network traffic is fixed at 11G. If you need to exceed 11G of traffic, you only need to fill out the IP Super Flow Usage Application Form and it will not be included in the super flow calculation.
